On behalf of our client, a leader in parcel delivery logistics, we are looking for a responsible and proactive individual for the position of Operations Manager (m/f).

 

Location: Sesvete 

 

What can you expect:

  • Participate in creating a strategy of long-term and short-term goals for the development of the Department of Operations
  • Develop and implement operational processes for efficient business
  • Supervise and manage a team of employees
  • Transparently communicate and supervise subcontracted depots, line transport and contractual partners
  • Plan and create control systems according to given parameters and plans
  • Perform quality control and monitor KPIs
  • Plan financial resources and expenses and monitor the budget
  • Audit the budget and report expenditure plans to the superior
  • Prepare reports in a timely manner
  • Monitor market trends, competition and conditions in the distribution network
  • Be responsible for the implementation of projects within the given deadlines
  • Distribute and organize work tasks within the department
  • Provide relevant help and support to other employees, departments and management
  • Comply with all applicable internal regulations and procedures

 

 

What skills and knowledge should you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in similar roles in logistics
  • Preferred VSS technical course or VŠS course in logistics
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes
  • Leadership and strong communication skills
  • Organizational skills and social competence
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent knowledge in spoken and written English language
