Automation Engineer

Manpower Croatia for Client, an international company working in energy infrastructure solutions environment, is looking for ideal candidate to fill in the position of Automation Engineer (m/f).

Job description:

• identifies opportunities to improve efficiency through automation
• researches, specifies and/or implements automation and control systems and technologies in power plants, remote centers and industrial automation systems
• works closely with designers during the design of automation systems
• conducts and/or supports factory acceptance tests, functional tests, site acceptance tests, commissioning and commissioning of automation systems
• connects inputs, controls and outputs
• communicates with other teams about project requirements
• develops tests and simulations to ensure systems are operating as planned
• seeks new opportunities to improve automated processes and improve productivity
• understands new developments in the field of expertise
• provides guidance, advice and support to superiors in power plant automation
• implements measures for proactive prevention of defects and incidents
• identifies and implements technical optimizations

Requirements:

• University degree in technical field (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, process control or IT)
• 3-5 years of work experience in engineering, with experience in project management, operation and/or maintenance of control centers desirable
• excellent analytical skills
• advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package (especially Excel, Powerpoint)
• fluency in English (B2-C1 level)
• organizational skills and responsibility
• driving license category B
