Senior Accountant

On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of construction formwork and scaffolding, we are looking for a responsible and organized individual for the position of Senior Accountant (m/f).

Location: Veliko Trgovišće (Zagreb)

Job Description:

• Posting entries related to the procurement of formwork and scaffolding as assets and commercial goods
• Controlling monthly postings
• Preparing VAT forms - monthly
• Preparing monthly closing entries
• Recording fixed assets
• Preparing monthly reports for the Group - backup position
• Sanction list tool – control and operational reporting
• Reporting – Statistics, Croatian National Bank
• Preparing various analyses depending on current needs
• Assisting the Finance and Accounting Director
• Collaborating with audits, relevant institutions, and the Group
• Monitoring regulations in the scope of work (accounting, taxes)

Requirements and Skills:

• University degree in Economics or higher education in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions
• Knowledge of working in SAP environment, proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Diligence, responsibility, and accuracy
• Structured and systematic work approach
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of English in spoken and written form
• B category driving license
