On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of construction formwork and scaffolding, we are looking for a responsible and organized individual for the position of Senior Accountant (m/f).
Location: Veliko Trgovišće (Zagreb)
Job Description:
- Posting entries related to the procurement of formwork and scaffolding as assets and commercial goods
- Controlling monthly postings
- Preparing VAT forms - monthly
- Preparing monthly closing entries
- Recording fixed assets
- Preparing monthly reports for the Group - backup position
- Sanction list tool – control and operational reporting
- Reporting – Statistics, Croatian National Bank
- Preparing various analyses depending on current needs
- Assisting the Finance and Accounting Director
- Collaborating with audits, relevant institutions, and the Group
- Monitoring regulations in the scope of work (accounting, taxes)
Requirements and Skills:
- University degree in Economics or higher education in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions
- Knowledge of working in SAP environment, proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Diligence, responsibility, and accuracy
- Structured and systematic work approach
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of English in spoken and written form
- B category driving license
