Sales Engineer

Manpower Croatia for PALCONutrifit, a multinational company and an exclusive distributor of raw materials for the global food industry, is seeking an ideal candidate to fill the position of Sales Engineer for the bakery industry (m/f).

Job description:

• High-performing technological salesperson for food ingredients for the bakery industry in Croatia
• Demonstrate motivation and organizational skills with a deep understanding of food ingredients and the bakery industry
• Responsibilities include market development, application support, and ensuring profitability
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Conduct regular client visits, understand their needs, and provide quality, tailor-made solutions
• Handle business development tasks such as contract negotiations, forecasting, and market analysis
• Business development, contract negotiations, forecasting
• Identify business opportunities and address market needs effectively.
• Follow up on offers, payments and projects
• Develop and execute the sales budget
• Prepare regular reports
• Actively collaborate with team members

Requirements:

• At minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the bakery industry
• A degree in food technology
• Proficiency in MS Office
• English proficiency at minimum C1 level
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• A strong sales-driven mindset
• Knowledge of the Pantheon ERP system is an advantage
• Willingness to travel
• Highly organized, reliable and a positive thinker
