Head of Accounting

Manpower Croatia for Client, an international logistics company, is looking for ideal candidate to fill in the position of Head of Accounting (m/f).

Place of work: Sesvete, Zagreb

Job description:

• Defining the direction of work and development of the department
• Responsible for optimizing activities in the department
• Setting up procedures for development
• Decision-making and managing efficient work in the department
• Controlling the correctness of posting and invoicing
• Preparing periodic and annual reports according to Croatian regulations
• Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting reporting to the parent company
• Participating in annual forecasting of business results
• Participating in planning and monitoring the annual budget (sales, costs, investments, procurement, etc.)
• Monitoring business profitability
• Controlling collection and payment of collected money to our customers' accounts
• Participating in the process of making business decisions
• Monitoring applicable regulations and changes in the field of accounting and finance and their timely implementation
• Communication and cooperation with the tax administration, auditors, banks and other competent institutions
• Performing other tasks and tasks in terms of business and other decisions made on order and in cooperation with the superior

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of work experience in similar position
• Higher level of Education, preferably Economics and Finance
• Advanced level of English knowledge (C1 level)
• Advanced level of MS Office knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced managerial skills
• Communicative, easy-going and dedicated mindset
